사실 시모네 카페의 경우 카페라는 느낌보다는 식당 같은 느낌이 더 강합니다. 하나의 통로에 여러가지 룸이 연결된 것처럼 보이는 테이블 배치를 가지고 있거든요. 그리고 노 키즈존(no kids zone)과 키즈존(kids zone)이 함께 존재하기 때문에 관리가 잘 되고 있는 작은 레스토랑을 간 느낌이었어요.

시모네에서 판매하는 카페 메뉴를 보신다면 전형적인 일반 카페와 같은 것을 볼 수 있는데요. 저는 아래의 메뉴 중 시그니처 메뉴인 콘크림 커피를 시켜보았어요. 평소에 옥수수를 좋아하기도 하고, 옥수수 스프와 같은 맛을 기대하면서요.
If you look at the cafe menu at Simone, you will find typical offerings similar to a regular cafe. Among the menu options, I decided to try their signature menu item, Corn Cream Coffee. I have a fondness for corn and was expecting a taste reminiscent of corn soup.

왼쪽에 놓여진 커피는 바닐라라떼, 그리고 오른쪽에 놓여진 커피는 콘크림라떼입니다. 생각보다 조금 적은 양인 것 같으면서도, 막상 마셔보면 양이 꽤 많은 것을 알 수 있어요.
물론 스타벅스의 그란데사이즈나 밴티사이즈를 선호하시는 분들은 양이 만족스럽지는 못하시겠지만, 커피 자체에 함유되어 있는 우유와 크림이 배를 부르게 한답니다.
단 맛을 좋아하시고 약간의 느끼한 맛을 드시는 것에 거부감이 없으시다면 이러한 커피를 드셔보시는 것도 나쁘지 않을 거 같아요.
만일 이 커피의 점수를 매긴다면 5점 만점에 4.5점이 아닐까 생각이 듭니다.
The coffee placed on the left is a Vanilla Latte, and the one on the right is a Corn Cream Latte. Although the quantity may seem slightly small at first glance, when you actually taste it, you realize that the portion is quite generous.
Of course, those who prefer Starbucks’ Grande or Venti sizes may not find the quantity satisfying, but the milk and cream infused in the coffee itself make it quite filling.
If you enjoy a pleasant taste and don’t mind a slightly creamy flavor, trying this type of coffee wouldn’t be a bad idea.
If I were to rate this coffee, I would give it around 4.5 out of 5, just shy of a perfect score.
